Eye-Fi Now Uploads Video to Facebook
Eye-Fi has announced a new update is available for users of the Eye-Fi line of SD cards for cameras. The latest update adds the capability to upload video directly from the camera to Facebook without needing to turn on a computer.
Photos and video can now be uploaded to more than 25 different websites. The memory card solutions range in price from $49 to $149 and are available in several different models. These things are perfect for the Facebook user who can’t seem to remember how to do the uploads manually. Read more

Eye-Fi Now Uploads to Picasa, Photobucket, and SmugMug
The Eye-Fi line of SD cards has made it very easy for fans of digital photos and videos to quickly and easily upload their content to computers and websites. The Eye-Fi cards allow you to shoot video just as you would any other time and then the technology and software inside the SD cards uploads footage for you automatically.
Eye-Fi has announced that its memory cards can now upload video to more places including Picasa Web Albums, Photobucket, and SmugMug. The three new sites are in addition to YouTube and Flickr. The PC doesn't need to be on to upload the videos according to Eye-Fi. Read more

The Eye-Fi Video Card is Last Gadget Standing 2009
The upcoming Eye-Fi card that can directly upload video to Youtube (see this report) won the Last Gadget Standing 2009 award at the CES 2009. Eye-Fi won LGS 2008 as well.
Despite not being ready the upcoming Eye-Fi card won the heart of the LGS 2009 audience and the crowd has been cheering the loudest.

Eye-Fi shows direct Youtube Upload Technology at CES 2009
Eye-Fi Inc., makers of the world's first wireless memory card for digital cameras, today announced that it is developing a way for users to wirelessly upload videos from their digital camera to YouTube and a home computer.
Eye-Fi will preview the technology at the CES 2009, which means it is not ready yet for production.
"We're aiming to do for video what we've already done for photos: provide the easiest, simplest way to save and share your digital memories," said Jef Holove, CEO for Eye-Fi. "Our wireless technology makes it effortless to upload videos to YouTube using the digital camera you already have, without the fuss of special software. You won't need to find a USB cable or even turn on your computer to get your memories in front of one of the largest audiences on the Web."

Eye-Fi Explore unveiled
Today Eye-Fi, makers of the world's first wireless memory card for digital cameras, announced the Eye-Fi Explore, a new card that automatically geotags photos.
Eye-Fi Explore allows users to automatically send photos directly from their camera to their PC or Mac, and to one of 25 online photo sharing, printing, social networking, or blogging sites using their home wireless network. Eye-Fi partnered with Skyhook Wireless to provide geotagging capabilities and Wayport to enable hotspot connectivity for the Eye-Fi Explore.

Eye-Fi Touts Mac Compatibility for iPhoto
The Eye-Fi card is not a new item, we have covered it before here at I4U. Eye-Fi is a SD memory card with 2GB of storage space that features built-in WiFi connectivity allowing you to upload images you shoot directly to your PC or websites as you take them.
Eye-Fi announced a new downloadable update today that makes the card compatible with Mac systems. The upgrade allows the Mac Safari browser to access the Eye-Fi manager for upload directly to iPhoto or any of 19 other applications and websites. Read more

Eye-Fi 2GB SD Card with Built-in WiFi Now Available
In August of 2006, we first talked about a SD card for digital cameras that featured built-in WiFi for automatically transferring photos to your PC. Today the Eye-Fi wireless memory card is available for purchase.
The card has 2GB of internal storage and works with any camera supporting SD cards. The internal WiFi transmitter allows you to send the images stored on the card to your computer automatically. After set-up, the Eye-Fi also allows you to choose from 17 different online photo-sharing applications, printing programs, social networks and blog sites for your images to upload to automatically. Eye-Film: SD-Card with 802.11g Wifi Built-in
Eye-Fi, Inc. plans to offer a standard sized SD-Card with integrated 802.11g Wi-fi for digital cameras.
Wi-Fi enabled SD-Cards are nothing new, but they are sticking out of the SD-Card slot and are not usable in digital cameras if you need to close the slot.
Eye-Fi plans to reveal details about their beta (?, just release the darn thing, beta is for software) trial.
