Apple sues Psystar
It took a while, but Apple has now filed law suits against Psystar, who got quite some attention a couple of months ago for their cheap Mac Clones.
The suit against Psystar alleges counts for violation of its shrink wrap license, trademark and copyright infringement.

Psystar Open Computer Apple Mac Clone Review
Now the back and forth about the existence of Psystar and their Apple Mac Clone is over. We already reported about Open Computers showing up at customers. Now Engadget published a hands-on review with performance comparisons of the Psystar Open Computer to other Apple computers.

Psystar Open Computer Mac Clone Customer Video
Last week Psystar published a video showing a running Open Computer Apple Mac clone running OS X. Now the first video from a Psystar customer has appeared.
The video shows an Open Computer running OS X. The Open Computer cooling fans are as loud as an airplane on take-off, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Psystar publishes Video showing Open Computer running Apple OS X
Psystar is still trying to convince us that despite heavy criticism that their Mac OS X clone dubbed Open Computer is for real. They have now turned to the video medium to spread the word about $399.99 Mac hardware.
The video published on their site (apparently made with an Open Computer) shows the Open Computer running Windows XP, Ubuntu, and Mac OS X.

Psystar Saga continues
Psystar posted a statement on their site trying to explain why their business could not be found. As reported yesterday some sites reported that on the published Psystar address was no company to be found.
The new Psystar address is 10475 NW 28th St, Doral, FL 33172. If you care and live around there you can see if its true.

Psystar Open Computer Mac Clone still puzzling
On Monday we reported about Psystar and its claim to sell low-cost Apple Mac clones. The dust has settled a bit and Psystar is apparently shipping Mac Clones now named Open Computer for $399.99 if you trust their site and statements made by Rudy Pedraza, President of Pystar.
Engadget got Psystar's President on the phone for some comments on the Open Computer. Besides having Open Computers shipped Psystar is apparently working on a response to the Apple EULA issue.

Psystar Apple Mac Clone already History?
Florida based Psystar announced an Apple Mac Clone for $399.99, but their site is already down. The reason for that could be high traffic, but it also could be that Apple already moved against them. As you know there are no Mac clones on the market. Apple does not like the idea that the Windows world has embraced.

More details on the Psystar Open Computer
The specification of the Mac Clone would be including 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 250GB HDD, and 2GB RAM.
