Overview:
We received lots of feedback and we updated
the ranking with new cameras. We now added the more obscure, tiny little key-chain
cameras. We thought nobody is really into them. But based on the feedback
we got people like those little low-end digital cameras. Before the
addition of the new cameras into our ranking, the
smallest digital camera was the Sony Qualia 016. Now the Qualia 016 is the
smallest with Photo LCD Display. The JB1
Zippo Spy Camera and the SY-2107
beat the Qualia 016 in terms of size (volume). The strange thing both
cameras have the exact same size. I could not find many sources on the
size of the JB1 Zippo. So maybe here is something wrong. Please email
us if you have seen different sizes for the JB1 or SY-2107. The I4U

The Sony Qualia anyway is extremely expense and made
to order and would only appeal to real enthusiasts. The field of small
digital cameras is packed with powerful and feature-rich models. Many of them do
not differ much in size. For detailed size comparison look at our dynamic
chart or if your browser does not support the Microsoft Excel control
use the static version. This guide focuses on
Digital Cameras that fit in pockets and can be taken everywhere. We aim to focus on small full-featured, meaning useful,
digital cameras. Now we added some popular tiny cameras that have less
features but are very small.
Worth mentioning is also the Fuji Axia
Eyeplate Camera on 5th place. This one is actually
based on the OEM kit provided by SMal
Camera Technologies. They actually announced a while ago a new
2MP Kit, but I could not find anybody selling one of those yet.
2004 will bring for sure more new and more powerful small pocket
size cameras to the market, like the Sony DSC-T1 with 5MP and large
