We analyzed for our World's
Smallest Digital Camera Guide every small sized digital
camera available on the market. What we found is that it is
still important that the camera has all major features despite
the small size. Some very small digital cameras lack a flash,
a display and resolution. We think those cameras are just toys
and not really usable as a digital camera that users will have
with them at all times and is ready to make good quality
photos in any situation.
Looking at digital cameras that have all major features, the
Casio Exilim EX-S20 is unbeatable. Casio
was able to pack a full featured 2 Mega Pixel Camera in
83.05x52.83x11.17mm, which result in 49.01cm3 volume. The
runner-up is the Panasonic
D-Snap with a volume of 67.9cm3. Only the Sony
Qualia 016 is smaller, but the Flash is an add-on module
that nearly doubles the size of The Qualia 016, which makes it
