Overview
When I first reported about the Vaja
i-volution I already knew I need to get my hands on one. Here it is
in my hands now and I am not disappointed. The leather is smooth and
has a great feel to it. The molded shape that exactly fits the Sony
PSP give the Vaja i-volution case this futuristic and modern look.
Vaja sent me a black and yellow colored model. On the Vaja site you
can choose your color combination or also just a single color from
tons of available colors. The yellow is a great choice and works as
you can see in the
photos well with the black Sony PSP.

The Vaja i-volution case has cut-outs for power, headphones, power
switch, wi-fi switch, memory stick slot and UMD slot. On top the
case is wrapping itself around the edges of the PSP leaving all game
buttons easy to access. The Vaja case is designed to be left on the
Playstation Portable. No need to take it off. The case has a
magnetic closure. Inside the top cover are 3 memory stick sleeves.
There is no space for an additional UMD, but that would also make
the case bulkier.

The case is very sturdy on top and bottom and it also has thin
padding under the leather. The case gives me the feeling that my
shiny Sony PSP is well protected. The smart designed case is also
very easy to put onto the PSP. It is closed by two buttons on the
backside. Playing with the PSP with the case on is not different
than without. It feels a bit heavier. I find it actually a bit
better to hold as the case makes the console a bit thicker. The top
cover stays attached when playing. The design is such that the
fingers on the back do not touch the open cover.

The Vaja Sony PSP case also functions as table stand. This is a
smart feature and is cool for watching videos on the PSP. This is
not a hundred percent stable though as it is not fixated. So if
somebody rocks the table the stand folds. It works but it is not
solid solution.

Conclusion
The Vaja i-volution leather case for the Sony PSP is beautiful and
is definitely a fitting luxury accessory for the Sony PSP. The
craftsman's ship is outstanding on the leather case. The combination
of real leather with a modern form gives the case it's unique look.
The design is smart and the case can be left on at all times, but it
is also easy to remove. All in all if you want to have a real good
and stylish leather case then the Vaja i-volution is for you. It is
absolutely worth the steep price. If you just want the table stand
feature than maybe a dedicated
PSP
table stand is a saver choice.
