Features and On-Screen Menus of the DSC-T1
In this section of the Sony DSC-T1 review I go through the
on-screen menus and the features. As I said before the menu is
very intuitive and the most important settings are directly
accessible via the button grid. To navigate a directional button
pad is on the back-side of the camera. 3 additional action button
are arranged around the pad: Menu Button, Delete and Resolution
Button and the Display Control Button. During still image mode the
directional buttons have different functions. The Top Button
controls the Flash modes, the right button the close-up switch,
the bottom button the self-timer setting and the left button
switches image review.
The main modes of the camera are set by a slider button on the
right side of the camera. Still image, Play and video recording.
Below are screenshots the Sony DSC-T1 menus and settings.

| using the zoom-out

thumbnails of the photos. |
| Overlay Display |
 |
| Multi-Select Delete
is a great feature. By quickly marking the thumbnails I
can delete all selected photos efficiently. |
| Switch
Resolution |
 |
| During still image
mode, pressing the delete button brings up the resolution
menu. By default its on 5MP. |
| Recording Modes |

 |
| The DSC-T1 supports
several pre-defined modes to record photos. the Burst
modes take several photos with one shutter click. |
| Camera Modes |

 |
| The DSC-T1 supports
several photo modes for a lot of conditions. The screen
immediatly reflects the change in the setting giving a
preview of what the photo will look like. When in Program
mode the menu bar on the botton expands to review the
white-balance, effects, ISO, OEV and more menus. |
| Camera Setup |

 |
| The setup is not
complicated and pretty much self explanatory. First thing
is always to set the time right. |
There are several more screens with more settings that I don't
want to go in detail here as i did not change them. Like ISO,
Metering Mode, EV, Effects, Quality, White balance, Focus, Folder
options, Flash Level, Saturation, Contrast and Sharpness.
