Features:
The G20 has a 5 line LCD display with a resolution of 160x86 pixels.
It uses animated icons and scroll text as user interface elements.
The display has a cool blue backlight.
Below I highlight several of the key

Play
Display
The display during playback shows the equalizer setting
and battery health on top. The time played is shown in the
lower right corner. The track title, artist and the title of
next track are
displayed in the remaining 3 lines. |

Main Menu
Pressing the menu button reveals the main popup menu.
Selecting menu items is done by pressing the big wiggle
button. |

Navi
The Navi menu item leads to a sub menu where I can explore
the Folders on the G20 or go through the Bookmarks. Access to
the Recycle Bin is also available.

Under Folder I can select either via the album or artist
information music files. Or I can directly go to the album
folders I uploaded. |

Toshiba Player. With the wiggle button I can go up and down

Equalizer
The Toshiba G20 supports four options for sound style.
Flat, Bass+, Bass++ and Loudness. I prefer Bass++.

Volume
Pressing one of the small volume button next to the wiggle
button displays a graphical volume slider. It disappears after
a about 2 seconds.

Settings
Under settings several options are available. See list
below for a complete listing. Sleep timer is a great thing for
flying or snoozing off on the couch. Several options that are
available through the main menu are available in settings to
set pre-sets. For instance for Play Mode, Intro, Equalizer and
Play setting. The G20 is ready to be used in five different
languages: German, English, Spanish, Japanese and French. So
eventually it has to be entering markets outside of Japan. |
