Woman Robbed Near Mayor Emanuel’s North Side Home

CHICAGO (CBS) — A woman was robbed early Sunday near the North Side home of Mayor Rahm Emanuel. The 33-year-old woman was walking in the 4200 block of North Hermitage about 1:45 a.m. when someone came up behind her and stole her purse, police said. Emanuel lives on the same block. CHICAGO (CBS) — A tragic accident in Joliet over the weekend. By Bruce Levine– (CBS) — The Chicago Cubs received good news on third baseman Kris Bryant’s foot injury. An MRI on Bryant’s big toe Sunday revealed a bone bruise. Bryant fouled a ball off of his foot last week. He played through the pain until removing himself from the Iowa Cubs game Saturday evening. An X-ray on the toe was inconclusive on Saturday. CHA Revises Policy After Criticism Of “Supervouchers”

(CBS) — The Chicago Housing Authority is making changes to its voucher program after criticisms of so-called “supervouchers” that allow a handful to live in some of Chicago’s most expensive buildings.
