Asus 1005HA XP And Windows 7 Netbooks Dominate Amazon Netbook Sales Chart

Before the Windows 7 launch the Asus 1005HA with Windows XP already led the netbook sales charts on Amazon. After the launch a couple new Windows 7 netbook came close or even lead for a while the charts. Now things seem to have settled in favor for the Asus 1005HA.
The first 4 spots on the netbook sales charts are taken by Asus Eee 1005HA models: Two XP and two Windows 7 Eee PCs. As already observed last weekend there is still the weird thing that the XP netbook still outsells the newer Windows 7 version.

Lenovo ThinkPad Netbook: Out January 5?

All those rumors about a Lenovo ThinkPad netbook just got a little more credence. ThinkPadToday appears to have received confirmation from someone that the first ThinkPad netbook, which will be called the X100e, will be out January 5, 2010. The slogan for this new product is purported to be, “Entry level ultra portable, the first ThinkPad of its size”.

No details about the hardware on the X100e have been released yet, and Lenovo still has yet to confirm or deny the rumors. As of right now, it's still entirely possible this product does not exist. However, the evidence against that is increasingly heavily stacked. Several images have leaked out, and rumors about the new netbooks continue to sprout like wildflowers.
