Sprint Announces Cyber Monday Deals

Sprint has announced its Cyber Monday specials that include phones and economic calling plans. Sprint is offering the Palm Centro free after a $100 mail-in rebate. The LG Rumor is a new Sprint exclusive handset just in time for Christmas.
The i335 from Motorola is free, a rugged phone for those hard on their equipment. Sprint is also offering the Compass 597 by Sierra Wireless, the nation's smallest USB modem for free. Other devices include the Samsung M300 free instantly. Read more

If you are looking for an interesting gift for someone on your holiday list who likes Dinosaurs, ThinkGeek has something for you. A DIY kit is available that offers three different dinosaurs that are cut from flexible plastic sheets.
The sheets are put together by sliding tab A into slot A and so forth. The three dinosaurs featured are the T-Rex, stegosaurs, and a diplodocus. (RED)WIRE Music Service Launches

(RED) is well known in the technology market with many electronic makers like Dell offering (RED) branded products that helps to support the fight for Aids research. Today marks the launch of (RED)WIRE, a new music service that hopes to help fight Aids in Africa.
The service launches today and is described as a digital music magazine that will be digitally delivered each Wednesday. The monthly subscription fee is $5 and half of that fee goes to the Global Fund to help fight Aids. Those subscribing by December 10th will be founding members and get a free Jay-Z song. Read more

You could only take a break from deal hunting on Saturday after Black Friday was over, as Cyber Monday already started on Sunday at several retailers. Yesterday and this morning we have already featured tons of great Cyber Monday Sales and deals. There are some great deals to be had on Walmart and Amazon.com, especially on Video Games and consoles.
Amazon for instance has the Nintendo DS for under $100 in their Cyber Monday Video Game Sale.
Walmart offers a great Xbox 360 Bundle with Guitar Hero for $269.

Facebook Messaging on Over One Billion Devices

The free mobile push email service Emoze now allows Symbian users to add Facebook messaging in combination with email messages to their mobile device. Emoze says that Java and Windows Mobile users will have a version of the software to allow Facebook messaging in the next few days as well.
Using the software the Facebook site doesn't have to be opened and the user's friends list is available immediately on the handsets without needing to use a web browser to get the list. Emoze says it doesn’t store the messages sent for greater protection for the user. Read more

eBay Sees Black Friday Shopping Increase

eBay reports that it saw an increase in shopping activities on its network of websites including eBay, PayPal, and Shopping.com. eBay shoppers reportedly took advantage of the $1 holiday door busters and Bid on $1 auctions.
Shopping.com reports that the most searched for item in its store was the Nintendo Wii and the Wii Fit. PayPal says that it saw 34% more transactions than it had the same time in 2007 and a 26% increase in online payment volume for Black Friday. The most sold item on eBay for Black Friday was the Nintendo Wii with 3,171 sold and the Wii Fit with 1,059 sold. Read more
