Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

Now available is the Wireless Camera Hunter, a full range frequency scanner that is used specifically to find close-range video recording devices. With the growing concern of people taking unauthorized video of others to sell on the Internet, etc, this product could help ease the fear of that potentiality.

What sets this apart from other similar products is its built-in 2.5 color TFT screen that actually lets you see what the detected video camera is seeing. It has a scanning capability of up to 500 feet and can switch between PAL/NTSC, EIR/CCIR modes. It also has an alarm function that will sound off if it senses a close video recording frequency. While this device can add some security for people, I do worry about it leading to panic every time you run across someone filming a home movie. Also, who knows what this might do to the tabloid industry? If celebrities can be warned when someone's video taping in their area, we may have less access to those candid shots.

Anyway, the scanner measures 2 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 1 1/2" and has a current retail price of $600. Right now, there's only a handful of online retailers who are selling it.
