What's going on with Microsoft? Do Bill Gates and Martin Taylor know something the rest of us don't? On Tuesday, the corporate vice president of Windows Live and MSN marketing, Martin Taylor, announced that he is leaving Microsoft.
Just three months ago, Taylor was appointed to his new position to manage the marketing of Windows Live. In his 13 years with the company, Taylor even worked directly with CEO Steve Ballmer. The only official statement was given by the company as a whole: "We have made the difficult decision to part ways with Martin, but we don't comment on personnel matters. We appreciate Martin's contributions at Microsoft over the past 13 years."
Martin Taylor's departure is effective immediately, and it's unknown at this point who will fill his executive shoes.
