Sony puts the VAIO VGN-TXN10 Series on the start with EV-DO Rev. A capability.

Sprint expects to upgrade its network in select markets with EV-DO Revision A (Rev. A) later this year. The Sony VGN-TXN10 is ready for that.

The Sony VGN-TXN10 features a carbon fiber chassis and weighs 2.8-pounds and is less than one-inch thin (at its narrowest point). Features included Intel Cor Solo CPU, 11.1 inch screen, 5-11 hours battery life, fingerprint sensor, DVD drive and Sony's instant mode to watch movies without booting.

Sony announced the VAIO TX series with integrated mobile broadband connectivity one year ago. Sony VAIO VGN-TXN10 Series notebooks, with mobile broadband capability, will be available in late September, starting at about $2,300 in charcoal, platinum, sienna and slate blue.
