Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

UK's Remote XT is on TV news stations all over Europe right now. Their mobile phone theft prevention service gets tons of attention, because it is a little bit wacky.

When your mobile phone gets stolen you just call Remote XT and they remotely backup your phone and then disable it by making the phone literally scream. The thief can remove the SIM card and the phone still screams.

The actual value of Remote XT lies more in the backup functionality I assume. The screaming thing is a genius gimmick for marketing. The service has a hefty monthly fee right now of £9.99 (~$19) + VAT per month or £14.99 (~$28) + VAT per month depending on your configuration.
More details on Yahoo! (CNN video on the left) and on the Remote XT site.
