Reuters reports that Sony said it is working on a video Walkman.

Sony stayed away from marketing portable video players. Sure the Sony PSP can play videos from memory stick and from the UMD. Still the PSP is not an iPod video or better yet an Archos 504 with 160GB HDD.

The comments Sony made at a press-conference today are actually more cryptic than the headline suggests: "We are developing a product that handles images".

Oh well, we will see what it is when Sony releases it or somebody leaks the specifications. Is actually anybody still talking about Sony's latest portable gadget - the Sony Mylo?Sony launched new network walkman players with noise canceling today.
