OCZ started making enthusiast RAM for PCs and moved into flash storage. Now OCZ is preparing to move into the graphics card sector by bringing to market their own OCZ NVIDIA graphics cards.

I have read that OCZ has placed an order for NVIDIA 8800 series cards from an unnamed supplier. I was unable to confirm a supplier or the date that the cards would be shipping, though I was able to confirm independently that OCZ is getting into the graphics card business with NVIDIA.I always take stuff I read at The Inquirer with a grain of salt. I wonder if we will see OCZ using their own memory in their graphics cards at some future date. I know they have some serious overclocking roots and fully expect to see some high clock speeds on their cards, at least by the second round. The first round of cards they launch will likely be merely NVIDIA reference clocks. Shop OCZ products here.
