Nokia filed a patent for a diamond like coating for gadgets.

The coating would be very tough, but also smooth, antistatic and the surface reflects and diffracts light in a similar way to shiny metal.
Sounds to me like the perfect surface for gadgets. I hope we do not have to wait for another decade to get gadgets with this amazing surface in our hands.
