Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

Fireplaces are so boring, they just burn stuff, and you have to clean ash out of it. What would be cool is if the fireplace could do something more, like make your very own pillar of fire. That is exactly what the cyclone delivers.

Dual tubes have fire inside them that spins into a pillar. I have to assume these put out some sort of heat, but it isn’t clear if they heat your home or just look cool. These things go for $3800, though I’m not sure if that is for a pair or a single Cyclone.I would think these things wouldn’t be too good for those with kids in the home, anything glass and cool is bound to draw little hands and noses as the line of baby goo on my glass patio door at 2yr old height can attest. The only major drawback other than the price I see is how exactly you make smores with this thing. Story and image via Sci Fi Tech
