Sharp Aquos R-Series Features 120Hz, 1080p and 3,000:1 Contrast Ratio

We already mentioned the Sharp Aquos R-Series in our story about the Aquos Audio TV racks. Sharp announces 5 new R-Series LCD HDTV with 1080p full HD resolution featuring 120Hz technology.

The largest of the new Sharp Aquos R-Series is the 65 inch LC-65RX1W. The brightness is 450cd/m2 and the FOV is 176 degrees.
The other new Sharp R-Series HDTVs are LC-RX1W, LC-52RX1W, LC-46RX1W and LC-42RX1W.
Sharp will release some of the new 120Hz TVs in March and some in April in Japan. No pricing information available yet.
