The Irox Mete-On 1 weather station displays weather forecasts produced daily by professional meteorologists working at Meteotest on the Campus of Bern University in Switzerland.

The forecasts are broadcast alongside the Swiss (HGB) and German (DCF) time signals giving it a range in excess of 1500 km from the transmitters.

The crowded display of the Mete-On 1 displays a weather forecast for 4 days and nights in 60 regions around Western Europe. It also provides 2 days forecasts for many other regions outside this area. The Irox Mete-On will be available from March at in the UK at the Weather Shop site. See also this product page.
