China shows a moon rover that is supposed to weasel around the moon in 2012.

The 1.5m high and 440lbs moon rover is able to transmit video in real time, do some dirt digging and analyzing and generate 3D images of the moon surface. More details on the BBC and on the Shanghai News site.
