If you live in or are planning to visit Glasgow, you might want to be a little more protective of your phone. According to a new report by insurance company CPP Phonesafe, that's the most common city in the UK for mobile phone thefts.

The report goes on to say that about 22% of all stolen phones in the country are reported from people who have been in a bar. About 9% are pick-pocketed in the middle of the street.Other cities in the top 10 were as follows: Belfast, Liverpool, Chelmsford, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Cambridge, and London.

Phonesafe says that about one in every five UK citizens have had their phone stolen. Not exactly the kind of news you want to hear if you're looking to buy a new Blackberry, is it?
