DailyTech has some more information on the upcoming ATI R600 graphics card including what is reported to be the real name of the graphics card, the ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT. The name pays homage to the fact that the Avivo tech used is now HD.

The top of the line card is reported to have 320 stream processors, which is more than double what the NVIDIA 8800 GTX card has. I am sure that NVIDIA has an answer to the ATI Radeon HD 2800 XT in the works to put some rain on the ATI parade. The 320 stream processors will have a 512-bit memory interface with eight channels. Crossfire support requires no external dongle and all Radeon HD 2900 series cards will support 128-bit HDR rendering along with 24x anti-aliasing. Currently the NVIDIA 8800 GTX has a max anti-aliasing capability of 16x. The ATI card will also be capable of physics processing like the 8800 cards are.
