It's a word as ingrained into the minds of Americans as Google, but TiVo has failed to really catch on overseas. Company executives are looking to change that, though, by focusing more on embedded TiVo software in existing cable boxes. Apparently the TiVo people don't think Brits like having a million separate boxes connected to their TV.
This comes as news from the former CEO Mike Ramsey, who ignited a set of comments that would indicate TiVo is planning a second round of UK migration, according to DVR Playground.Read DVR Playground's full story
