Guys if you have wanted to set up your home theater system but have had a hard time passing the wife approval-o-meter thanks to the need to run wires around the room for the rear speakers, I have the solution. Rocketfish (Best Buy store brand) has a universal wireless rear speaker kit that will please you and the wife.

As the name suggest the kit is universal and will work with any make or model of home theater system. The kit promised crisp, clear surround sound without the need to run long wires from your system to the back of your room. Wireless range is up to 100 feet between sender and the receiver with uncompressed CD quality audio.

Connection sounds easy with you simply needing to connect the sender, connect your speakers, plug the kit in and power up. You can choose to mount the system horizontally or vertically in an included stand or on the wall.

Dimensions of the system are 3.5 in. x 4.19 in. x .94 in. for the sender and 6.5 in. x 8.75 in. x 1.69 in. for the receiver. The system can support rear speakers of 4-16 ohm and consumes 15w of power from your AC system. If this system performs as well as it promises it will be a huge boon to those looking to get into home theater, but not wanting to deal with the wires. Image via Rocketfish.
