Swissbikeboard announces the availability of Bikeboard Offroad and Bikeboard Street in the United States.
Swissbikeboard offers a unique sports device that can be used all seasons and terrains with different add-ons.
There are four Bikeboard styles: Snow, Street, Offroad and Water (Water coming in July).
The base of each Bikeboard Style is the semi-integrated Alloy frame and fork, and the various attachments can be interchanged to perform on any surface – snow, land or water – and enjoyed in any season.
Equipped with off-road wheels in both the front and back, the Swissbikeboard Offroad is designed for rugged terrain. It features a fiberglass reinforced platform with a double axle 135mm Rear Shock suspension and two double mechanism disc brakes to adjust speed the same way as with mountain biking. Weighing approximately 38 lbs., the durable 16 inch front and 6 inch rear wheels on the Offroad have alloy rims and hubs with sealed bearing and a quick release on the front wheel. The Swissbikeboard Street is also constructed with a fiberglass platform but is designed for performing on flat surfaces. Equipped with a patented 110mm Rear Shock suspension system for easy maneuverability, moves typically performed downhill on snow are achievable on the street. Like the Bikeboard Offroad, the Street version features two double mechanism disc brakes and quick release system. The semi-slick 14 inch front and 4 inch rear wheels have alloyed rims with sealed bearings and the weight is approximately 30 lbs.
When purchased separately, the Bikeboard Offroad has an MSRP of $998 USD and the Bikeboard Street of $978 USD, or the attachments can be purchased separately at $619 USD for the Offroad and $599 USD for the Street version.
