Garmin Intorduces a Pair of New GPS Systems

Today Garmin announced a pair of new GPs systems the nuvi 200W and the nuvi 250W (pictured). Both units have bright 4.3” color touch screen displays with 480 x 272 pixels. The units incorporate a high-sensitivity internal GPS antenna making it thinner.

Both nuvi units feature built-in image viewers, calculator, currency converters, unit converter and world clock. The internal database of the units has nearly 6million points of interest like restaurants, hotels, attractions, gas stations, and more.

Turn-by-turn, voice spoken directions should make following the route easier and European version come pre-loaded with locations of speed cameras, so you know when to switch lanes. Pricing is set at $499.99 for the 200W and $549.00 for the 250W. the difference in the two units seems to be that the 250W comes with maps of Canada as well. Via Garmin
