Sharp announces the Aquos G series and introduces 16 new models.

The new Sharp Aquos G LCD HDTVs feature 120Hz technology and are only 81mm deep. The new Sharp Aquos TVs feature an ASV liquid crystal panel and offers sizes from 26 inch to 52 inch.

The sizes between 52 and 37 inch feature full HD resolution (1920x1080) and the 32 and 26 inch models come with a resolution of 1366x768.There are two main designs in the new G series; one features the speakers on the sides (LC- 52GX4W, LC-52GX45, LC-46GX4W, LC-46GX45, LC-42GX4W, LC-37GX4W, LC-32GH4, LC-26GH4) and one under the panel (LC-52GX3W, LC-52GX35, LC-46GX3W, LC-46GX35, LC-42GX3W, LC-37GX3W, LC-32GH3, LC-26GH3).

The contrast of the Aquos G series is 2000:1, the brightness is 450cd/m2 and the Field of view is 176 degrees.
All 16 new Sharp Aquos TVs go on sale on August 21st in Japan.
