Nintendo announces Wii Fit at E3

Nintendo takes Wii Sports to the next level with Wii Fit.

Wii Fit is a sensor mat called the Wii Balance Board combined with exercise software. The Wii Fit mat measures your movements and senses if you are doing the exercises right. Nintendo Wii Fit looks like serious workout.

The exercises are displayed by 3D figures on the screen. Indicators tell you if you are doing the exercise correct and in the right pace.

You can choose between Yoga, muscle toning, aerobic and balance exercises.

The Wii Balance Board also measures your weight and the Wii Fit software tracks your BMI (Body Mass Index).

Nintendo did not say yet when Wii Fit will launch.
