Zonbu offers a $99 Linux PC with a monthly subscription ($12.99) to access applications, storage and services.

Zonbu claims that their Linux box is environmentally friendly as it just uses 1/10th the power of a standard Windows PC.

The Linux based user interface of Zonbu looks great and very approachable for the average consumer. Zunbo puts the service based computing to the real world test. Without the services the hardware does nothing. If Zonbu does their stuff right, Google will buy them pretty soon. If successuf Microsoft might just buy them to trash them.
