Epson Introduces the Moviemate 50 and Moviemate 72 Projectors

Epson announced a pair of new Moviemate projectors today called the Moviemate 50 and the Moviemate 72 all-in-one projectors. Both projectors allow you to project video at up to 8 times larger than a 40-inch TV and use Dolby Digital Audio.

The projectors can be used to play movies back from your iPod, video game system or DVDs. The Moviemate 72 s the first all-in-one projector to display 720p HD content and it is capable of upscaling normal DVDs to 720p.

The Moviemate 50 is the smallest all-in-one in the Epson line at only 8.3 pounds and has an integrated carry handle. Both models use 3LCd projection technology and can receive input via VGA from a PC or a Mac. The resolution for the Moviemate 50 is 480p and it sells for $799.99 and the Moviemate 72 will sell for $1199.99.
