Verizon Wireless announced today that the Motorola Z6tv would be available on October 5th. The slider phone is capable of receiving Verizon’s Beyond V CAST MobileTV programming. The phone features an integrated DAP supporting MP3 and WMA music files.

An integrated 2.0-megapixel camera is built-in that allows you to record video as well. TV programming can be watched in landscape or portrait mode and location based services are available as well.

The display screen is a 2-inch 240 x 320 TFT with 65k colors and the phone has 50MB of internal memory and can be expanded with microSD cards. Weight for the phone is 3.7 ounces and the battery is a 940 mAh. The price for the phone will be $179.99 after a $50 rebate and a 2-year agreement, with monthly access charges for the mobile TV service costing $13 to $25.
