Panasonic announces their new home theater system with DVD Recorder SC-HT1500 in the USA.

The Panasonic SC-HT1500 is already available in Europe as far as we can tell. Panasonic's Press-Release says the new model SC-HT1500 will be available this month. It will have a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $999.95.

The DVD Recorder has a 80GB hard-drive for digital video recording. The dvd recorder comes with an electronic program guide (EPG). The DVD Player plays DVD video, DVD-Audio, DVD-RAM, DVD-R1, CD, CD-R/RW2 and MP3. The system comes with a audio receiver that puts out 800W and supports Dolby Digitalâ and DTSâ decoder, along with Dolby Surround Pro Logic II and a digital AM/FM tuner.
Some stores already offer the Panasonic SC-HT1500.
