Asus Eee PC 4G on sale in United States

Now the guys over at Laptop Magazine also got their hands on a brand new Asus Eee PC. They tested an Asus Eee 4G, which they claim would cost $399. Based on our earlier reports that would be the price for the Asus Eee 8GB with 8GB SSD.
The Asus Eee PC review highlights as positive aspects the easy-to-use interface, full Web 2.0 experience, lightweight design, useful education programs, works well with external peripherals, and very good performance for the price.
On the negative side of things the review lists that the webcam can't yet be used for video chats, its not easy to find and load new applications, and no mobile broadband support.

There is still no information on what day and which stores will carry the Asus Eee in the U.S.. NewEgg and Best Buy have been mentioned before by Asus, but it is not confirmed.
