Consumer Reports published a list of HDTV Black Friday deals they consider as good.

The list focuses on HDTV sets that have been tested throughout the year by Consumer Reports.
Some picks of their interesting LCD HDTV list are the Sharp LC-42D43U on Circuit City, Sony 46-inch Bravia LCD TV for $1,500 at Sears and Sharp LC-52D64U for $2,200 at Circuit City.

The Plasma HDTV picks include several Panasonic TVs. That is no surprise as Panasonic just has the best quality/price ratio in my experience. Best Buy offers the Panasonic TH-42PE7U for $900, Circuit City offers the Panasonic TH-42PX75U for $1,000 at Circuit City.

Tip: Always compare prices online before purchasing in-store. Not all deals touted by the retailers are really good ones.
