Chinese mobile handset maker Qiao Xing Mobile Communication Co. and its subsidiary CEC Telecom Co. announced a new mobile phone today called the C3100. The new handset is aimed at low-end and rural markets and has a feature you don’t see often on a mobile phone.

The C3100 includes an integrated LED flashlight that features six LED’s for illumination. The handset claims a standby time of 25 days without a recharge.

The display uses large fonts and letters to make reading easier for senior citizens and those with poor eyesight. The phone also features a 500 name phone book. There is no word currently on pricing or availability. The phone will be sold under the CECT nameplate.
