The Financial Times reports that the BBC and MySpace have become pals. BBC program clips will be showing on MySpace. BBC is MySpace’s first broadcasting partner as the site expands content available to users.

Simon Danker from BBC Worldwide told the Financial Times, ““I can’t comment on that but this [deal] speaks for itself. You are bringing the largest social network together with one of the largest providers of video which is popular all over the world, so it’s just a really good partnership.”

BBC content will be used differently on MySpace than it is on YouTube, where the BBC also has a content deal in place.
