Yesterday we reported about the first MacBook Air reviews from the big guns like WSJ and Newsweek. Now the more technology oriented reviews have been published that contain lab test results for the performance of the MacBook Air.

MacWorld has published preliminary testing results that reveal the not so surprising truth: The MacBook Air is quite a bit slower than the other Apple laptops.

Also worth noting is that 3G USB modems cannot be plugged directly into the Air. you would need an USB extension short cable or use a USB hub. More details on Engadget.
