HTC fans in the UK that have been waiting to get their hands on the HTC UMPC going by the name Shift have something to be happy about. Reg Hardware reports that the HTC Shift will be available in the UK from online retailer Expansys on February 19th.

The catch is the huge price of the little beasty at £885 for the device only. Some UK bloggers are claiming to have seen a February price book from Orange that shows the HTC Shift will be available from the wireless provider directly.

The time frame for the rumored availability from Orange is March of 2008. There may be another fly in the ointment for the HTC Shift with a reported statement in the price book that says the HTC Shift can’t make voice calls on a mobile network.
