With the popularity of Apple’s iPod there are nearly as many iPod docks around as there are the ubiquitous fruity PMP devices themselves. Krell has launched its latest iPod dock with a bold claim of being the world’s best sounding iPod dock.

The dock is aimed at audiophiles and is intended to be connected to a hi performance audiophile grade system.

The device uses balanced differential Class A circuitry and an ultra-low noise volume control. The price is audiophile grade as well with the Kid selling for £1,350. UK distribution will be via Absolute sounds.
