It seems for once the rumors about Apple were true. The iPhone update released yesterday, 1.1.4, did not bring with it the much anticipated iPhone SDK to allow third parties to create applications for the popular iPhone.

I applied the update myself yesterday and have noticed nothing new in the way the phone performs and no new features. Pocket-lint says Apple has annonunced that the 1.1.4 update was a bug fix.

Some say that they have noticed faster loading of multiple pages in Safari on the phone, I didn’t notice that at all. The phone seems to be exactly the same. Perhaps I simply never encountered the bugs that the 1.1.4 update fixed.
