The allure of knowing exactly how fast one is typing eludes me; I simply don’t care how many words per minute I can type. I also don’t care how many words per day I type, but I bet it’s a lot. If these sorts of details do intrigue you, you may be interested in this little gadget.

The device looks like a speedometer and tachometer from a car. The large main gauge shows how many words per minute you are typing. And a small LCD below the large gauge shows how many words you have typed in the day.

I guess the smaller tachometer gauge on the right is just there for looks since it doesn’t appear to do anything. If you just have to have one of these things you can get it in March for £20.
