Pocket-lint is reporting that rumors are going around CeBIT that the iPhone will be getting GPS courtesy of Nav N Go iGO MyWay 8 software. The rumor says the software will use an unannounced GPS receiver.

Pocket-lint says it has contacted Nav N Go and has confirmed that a version of its software for the iPhone has been built. However, there are no details as to how exactly the GPS service will work.

One could assume that some sort of add-on GPS antenna will have to be connected to the phone via one of the ports. Perhaps more info will turn up tomorrow after the iPhone SDK is supposed to be announced.
