One of the biggest problem I have with my iPhone is that I can’t use it on my Rhapsody music subscription account. Apple has been rumored before to be contemplating adding its own subscription music service and those rumors have again surfaced.

According to Heise-online Apple is in negotiations with leading music-industry groups on bringing a subscription music plan to consumers. According to some sources Apple is offering to pay music publishers $20 as a flat rate payment for music.

It’s not exactly clear from the reports if that would be $20 one time for each song or $20 per month for one song. The monthly subscription is also rumored to be only for the iPhone where charges can be placed on the phone bill.
