If we need any other proof that product makers want to make virtually everything iPod compatible here it is. The iHome lamp is a desk lamp that docs and charges your iPod. The iHome lamps are said to work with all dockable iPods from the nano and mini to the 30 GB and 60 GB versions.

If the image is correct it will dock the iPod touch as well, which should mean the iPhone will fit. The lamps feature built-in speakers with improved bass and some models include remotes for controlling the music. The lamps retail for $49.99 and up from Lowe’s, Amazon.com and more.

"This line of iHome branded 'Made for iPod' desk lamps are perfect for your work or home office desk. The iPod charges while you work and listen to music. It is also great for students' dorm rooms," said Lawrence Bibi, President, Checkolite International Inc.
