As a heavy iPhone user I can say that the AT&T Edge network here in the U.S. leaves a bit to be desired. Ok, a lot to be desired. It would be great if I could get better reception and faster browsing speeds. Griffin has a case that it claims can provide those two things.

That’s right a cell phone case that promises to improve reception and faster downloads. The ClearBoost case protects the phone and has a rather ugly looking built-in antenna on the top. The idea is that the cases’ built in antenna booster feds the iPhone internal antenna a stronger signal.

To use the case all you have to do is snap your phone into it. The case is constructed of polycarbonate plastic and has cut outs for the controls and camera. The case doesn’t appear to protect the screen at all. The price for the case is $29.99 and oddly its not clear.
