In the world of spy pics of new gadgets you never really know if they are legit or if someone has just spent some quality time with Photoshop. Today some spy pics of what is supposedly the new 3G iPhone have surfaced.

The only thing you can see in the shot is the rear panel of the phone which is glossy black. Far from definitive proof of the 3G phone, someone could have simply had the phone painted. At any rate, not posting a juicy Apple story would not be right so here it is.

Speculation says that the new iPhone will hit in June. Rumors also say that the new iPhone will have 802.11n Wi-Fi. Recently a good way to tell if an Apple rumor is true is if Appleā€™s lawyers jump all over the originally posting site. This happened with the new fat and short iPod nano devices. So stay tuned, if we see the original post pulled today odds are the product is real.
