Gmail for iOS now features a new inbox

Google is keen about updating its apps, regardless of the platform. Just a week after introducing a new categorized design on its Gmail app for iOS, Google is finally releasing version 2.3.14159 today.

The updated Gmail app for iOS adds a new design that groups emails into separate inboxes. Basically, the new inbox lets users view at a glance which emals they want to read. The set-up is easier, and Gmail users on iOS can't help but thank Google.

The update also adds new notifcation options, which will notify users about important messages. Users can also customize the settings from the in-app settings page.
