The record Powerball jackpot has finally been claimed in Florida.

The Powerball lottery had a record Jackpot about three weeks ago. The winner of the $590 million has not come forward until now. The $590 million Jackpot winner has bought the ticket Zephyrhills in Florida. Powerball announced today that the $590 million jackpot has been claimed by a woman and Powerball will reveal the identity this afternoon. It is state law that the Powerball winner can not stay anonymous. The winner will though not attend the press-conference.

The woman is the largest sole winner in U.S. history. She will not get the full $590 million as she chose the lump-sum payment.
