New Sony Xperia Z running Snapdragon 800 tested

It looks Sony will be joining the bandwagon of manufacturers who will rig Qualcomm's now-famous Snapdragron 800 processor into their devices.

The report came from Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin who tweeted earlier today about an updated version of Sony's Xperia Z running Snapdragron 800. And why not?

The Xperia Z is Sony's flagship smartphone this year, so it isn't a surprise. Murtazin adds that the said updated Xperia Z is "really fast."

In a follow-up tweet, he adds that the prototype had an LCD 3 screen similar to the HTC One, although he believes that Sony will not use it on the final commercial version of the phone
